Lalita(22), was madly in love with a boy named Pawan Kumar. She was a teenager when she fell in love with him and she told her parents that she wanted to marry him. But her parents didn't agree because their castes were different, moreover, Lalita was below 18, she was a minor. But Lalita couldn't wait to marry Pawan, so both of them eloped and got married. Now that they got married, their family didn't accept them, so they went to police station to tell them that their parents are not accepting their relationship. Seeing the complications of the case, police referred their case to Child Welfare Committee and later on, their case went to Vasavya Mahila Mandali (VMM). Pawan was sent back home and Lalita joined the VMM Shelter Home. As soon as Lalita's parents got to know that she was in VMM, they went to VMM to meet their daughter. Her parents forced her to break her alliance with Pawan Kumar as according to them he was not a good man. But Lalita resisted. They even offered her to marry somebody else, but she rejected their proposal. She complained to the founder of VMM Ms. Chennupati Vidya about her parents. Ms.Chennupati Vidya counselled them about the importance of love and said caste is not important and she told them to meet Lalita after she becomes 19 till then she'll stay in VMM Shelter Home. Ms.Chennupati Vidya admitted Lalita in a 9 month computer course and after she completed, she offered her a job in VMM office as a computer data operator. After she became 19, her parents and Pawan's parents visited her in VMM, they took her back home. Now Lalita is happily married and is a mother  of a little munchkin.
